Now I can sleep!

I'm a CFI! I can teach in twin engine planes also :) I'll post a write up in the checkride section after work today. I've been 18 for three weeks, I was starting to feel like I was behind!

Alex.

Well....let's examine this for just a moment. You just turned 18, you are a CFI, and by all probablility...a complete geek. Celebrate! You didn't get pregnant, kill anyone, or wind up in jail. For our generation, you are way ahead of the power curve. Go to college, meet lots of girls, and have fun with your life. Make tons of friends! You have done a great thing and I am very proud of you. To say the least. As an "old" freight dog out here in the South Pacific, I am going to drink your first legal beer for you (and advise that you wait until you turn 21 to enjoy the same) and hoist another simply for the fact that there are still motivated people out there that know what they want. Congrats my friend.

P.S. If you meet a girl that wants you to move to Southern California, resist the urge...it will only lead to heartbreak. Good job, Airman. Now, report to Great Lakes ASAP and start complaining.

Nice job Alex, I remember when people here used to give you crap. Don't be a stranger, keep us up on your plans.

Good lord, Alex is 18 already?! Damn I feel old. Seems like only yesterday he was still so young. Go to college, my lad. Go to college.

I remember that as well. Whether or not it was his intention, he really came off kind of cocky and arrogant with some of his posts.

Needless to say he has grown quite a bit since he first signed up.

Congratulations Alex on a job Well Done......!:nana2:

What are your plans going forward?

Thanks for all of the congrats! I'm currently a freshman at Delaware State in the Aviation Program. I'm not planning on an piloting career, but the people in the career field I plan on getting into also recommend having a degree in something else as a back up. Since I'll have credits for all of the ratings (except the CFII) I figured it mine as well be an aviation major! Plus my total tuition after the scholarship is $300 per year.

I probally was back then! An engine failure that very, very easily could've killed me knocked quite a bit of sense into me.

Thanks again,

Alex.

Nice job man. I was surprised to see you got your CFI done. I too vividly remember people raking you across the coals for many of your posts and I'm glad you stuck around (nice pictures!) and didn't listen to the blowhards here.

Sweet man. I'll be waiting to hear your stories of students trying to kill you. Good luck and have fun.

What career field?

Congrats! I remember the pre-CFI sleepless nights!

Yeap I remember many thought he was a spoiled rich brat......because of his access to all the different aircraft.....You proved many wrong for the most part..kidding

Congrats Alex.....

:eek::cool::cool:DAMN!!! Wow!!!!! Congrats!!!! 18 and a CFI?!?! I was going to do something similar myself, I was going to finish up my CPL with instrument and mulitengine by the end of the summer. I was going to be a big bad flyboy, instead, I got two hours closer to my PPL. LOL :insane:
