Nothing a little duct tape can't fix

haha wow what a great idea and quick fix!

And that Mythbusters Duct Tape Episode was so great, especially the sail boat which was built from a steel skeleton and the rest of the body and sail were made of duct tape. Basicly the same here but on a plane, half and half haha

Speaking of bears, my wife took these pics while we were trout fishing at Strawberry Lake in the Upper Peninsula (Michigan) this past spring. This lake is about ten minutes from our house up there.

So was it flown with the duct tape?

I'm sure he did.

I've heard stories. Think about it this way, you're out away from everything, you told people you'd be back in a couple weeks, you go down someplace, or have a bear wipe out your airplane, fix it and get home. Ever seen "big rocks and long props" the extras have a little bit of "repair" where they ferry it back into what looks like TKA.

I know a guy who's an A&P and whose whole business is going out to places with airplanes that are jacked up, making them "work", and getting them back to the shop to fix. That dude had some unbelievable stories.

I know several pilots that carry duct tape in their planes and on more than one a occasion have used it. Coincidentally, all of them are engineers.
