Not so great American Eagle interview...lack there of actually

Honestly, with your experience, I don't think I'd go to Republic, either. That's not a slag on Republic at all, but the upgrade time is not looking anything even approaching rosy right now, AFAIK. If you need to get some 121 time, have you looked at...*gulp*...GoJet? There, I said it, I'll probably be banned. But they're apparently upgrading guys with the insurance numbers they want out of initial. I'd be lying if I said they don't have my stuff, too. *asbestos suit engaged*.

Boris you almost always give great advice on this forum. Before post #61 I probably could have said always and left out the almost.

Upgrade time is a meaningless metric anyway, because what is true yesterday won't be true tomorrow.

Nothing wrong with Gojet. They are just another sucky regional. The only people that make a big deal about it are you regional drama queens.

A charlatan. A dude who claims to be someone they aren't. Personally, I would welcome a little side bet with SeanD on A300's bona-fides. He sounds just like every old, bitter, angry freight C/A I've ever met...

You mean like commuter pilots who pretend to be airline pilots by conveniently leaving out the express/connection part when asked who they fly for?

We actually have a common freight dog background flying superior Japanese turbo freighters, albeit, mine was the much slower, but larger and equally loud indigenous model.

That's the guy I was accused of being when I showed up to JC in fall 2006 -- apparently because I was a military fighter guy (which Tomcatter had been portraying himself as), a lot of folks thought I was him as just a new logon.

Its probably just my opinion, but Id wager a bet. I feel pretty confident about it. I thought he was an FO.

When talking to non-pilots, I think it comes out of habit from no one knowing what they are talking about. "Who do you fly for?" "Pinnacl." "Never heard of them." "I mean Delta Connection" "Ah, okay." After the 5,000th time explaining that, I would imagine it is easier to just say Delta...

drunkenbeagle agreed.

This post contradicts itself, because express/connection/pilots are airline pilots...

All regional airline pilots are airline pilots...

If I still am not making sense, any pilot that works for an airline regardless if it is a legacy, major, or regional is an airline pilot.
