Hey...I'm a city boy too, believe me - and a California hippie, at that!!! But if flight instruction is what you want, flight instruction I can give! if you're tired of getting the run around from your flight school, consider going on a short vacation to Music City, USA! Lot's of convective av\ctivity in the afternoon - no doubt about that. That's why you do lots of flying in the aerly morning, and at night. None of this "3 hours of night flying" crap. Let's learn to fly the airplane at night! Let's have some fun!!!

im paying $112hr for a 172r $41hr for instruction $9hr gas surchage and $2.50 per landing.. .. my last flight was 1.3 hrs and paid $213.10
i know its very expensive... but im leary about switching to a piper this far along. and for some reasong my flight school is the only one with cessnas

Wow...what flight school is it? So, answer this...would you consider a flight school if they charged $85 for a 172 (older model) and $30 for the instructor? Over 25 hours, that would save you $1050. More than enough to cover lodging and 2 meals per day (as my student, you're welcome to enjoy dinner with my family and I as we go over ground instruction) and a rental car....and have money left over to spare!!!
No landings charges here....
No fuel surcharges here.....
