Not a Good Time with NWA Flight Attendant

Somebody please help.......and forgive me, because I read the first page, skimmed through the second page, at the end of that I realized it said 'today' and that there were still 2 pages left, so I totally skipped those, so hear goes...

(clearing throat) - What is the big bulging wall that she was staring at while she as sitting in her seat? I can't figure that one out.

It's the wall. Instead of a window, at that particular location on the aircraft fuselage there is no window. So the 'window' seat there has no actual window.
 
I understand where you are coming from but that is uncalled for. I would have been heated too if I were a flight attendant. I mean why would you yell in a plane for a window seat. That's why you request a window seat. Every passenger wants a window seat. To me, you were way out of line and this post is rather unnecessary to tell us about a stupid problem like this. I really can't believe the seen you would make. I mean you really want a FA to go around and ask all the passengers to switch with you because you dont like where you are sitting. No one else probably wants to look at a wall either, thats pretty crappy. I think you got what you deserved. If that is you in your avatar, you should have used your looks to your advantage. Happy next flight.

This got sticky and way out of hand and I didn't mean to make such a huge deal out of it. Apologies to everyone.

I know I've made an ass out of myself and I can see that like night and day. As I said before, everyone makes mistakes and I am not immune to this. I made a mistake (which I do often!!!) and I've learned from it.

I still debate as to whether it's best to learn from trial and error or otherwise. This wasn't pretty but I still learned.

If the flight attendant was here I'd buy her a drink, or bake her cookies. Or something. And to those of you who may have gotten upset, please accept my apologies for putting a bad spot on your day. I hope one day I can do something to make your day better instead of worse.

I think it takes big cajones to admit one's mistakes, and I applaud her.

Wow I missed out...

So to recap this is what I learned.

1. Nobody cares that you're a pilot.
2. You can't pick up chicks by saying you're a pilot.
3. I missed out on cookies.

On a completely kind of related subject. My buddy flies 135 charter and wears a uniform. He's walking around a store killing time and this guy walks up to him and asks him, "So are you a pilot?" He says to the guy with a completely straight face, "No I'm a tug boat driver, and just made Captain, that's what the 4 stripes are for." The guy is like "Oh that's cool." He believed it even though Bakersfield CA is a good 100 miles from any body of water. People can be such morons.

No worries! I tell you, you earned some respect points, it takes a big person to admit their wrong, nicely done (even though it took 5 pages of comments! :nana2: )

If you really want to make it up, offer to babysit for Amber, that should do it!!!!:rawk:
