Has anyone traveled to Beijing nonreving? If so, how were the loads? Were there many options?

Thanks for the help! My wife and I are going in September.

If Delta is an option for you, do not count on getting a seat on the PEK-NRT flight. Even though it is less than 3 hours in length, it is often weight restricted (which is really incredible to me).

I ended up getting the LAST seat on it but I was talking with a few Beijing ops people at the ticket counter area while they waited for final numbers and they said it happens more than half the time.

Based on that, I'd assume the PEK-SEA flight also gets weight restricted although I do not see it on the precautionary segments list nor have I ever seen it on there.

Since you're going in September, an additional Delta flight will be an option for you: DTW-PEK and PEK-DTW nonstop start July 1 with a 777. I doubt that route is long enough for weight to be a problem based on my non-rev experiences.

I'd take United if that DTW flight doesn't look good.
