as a charity/donatable item, i don't think it needs to be defined, it should be obvious. if it's not obvious, then instructions/direction will be given out at a later date when we figure out what those instructions are gonna be

So far, looking at future conventions, there are 50,000 folks expected for the ADA (Dental Association) convention the week of the 16-19 and 15,000 for some Entertainment convention on the 20-22....I'm considering halloween weekend out since there are 2 conventions with 150,000 total expected and halloween people on top of that.

The ADA convention was in Vegas this year NOT next year. Part of the reason I was not able to consider going to NJC was I bid off for the week that the ADA convention was this year (my dad is a dentist and I met my family and his staff down there). The 2007 ADA national convention is in San Fransisco next year so it would not be an issue for NJC.
 
OH... so i'm looking at the wrong list then.....that's totally not cool on my part! haha

Are you guys 100% on Vegas? What about Orlando? We have a HUGE convention center and tons of hotels. Also, great weather, food, nightlife, shopping, theme parks, etc..
 
yup.. vegas will always be #1 NJC location....Orlando's too hard to get into/out of.. heck, I can't even get in and/or out of there myself and that's BAD!


but we are thinking of ORD as an "east coast/midwest" location half way thru the year...I'm thinking maybe April?
 
Will we have any idea when the time will be set in stone?

i just looked at tickets and looks like they are cheaper then I thought they would be. $320-380 depending on carrier instead of 400-500 like I thought. I just may have to attend this year....:)
 
yes...pretty darn soon...we're seriously considering the sun-wed timing since it will be cheaper for everyone and we can get allegiant on for a major tour...

only problem will be for the office folks who will have to take a few days off of work (like myself and mpenguin).....

but hell, a few days offa work never really hurts! haha
