we're looking at October 26-28 (thurs-sat)

26th for 9FI
27th for sim sessions & NJC happy hour/mingle session
28th for possible NJC lunch and/or mingle session

or
26th for sim sessions & 9FI
27th for NJC happy hour/dinner/mingle session
28th for non-revving back home

any objections or comments?
 
Only concern would be Halloween and the possibility that hotels in Vegas will jack up the rates around that time. Maybe moving things back a week might be a good idea?

It actually looks to be a little cheaper right now. You get teh advantage of averaging the Th. midweek rate with the Friday rate and lower average price. Just looking at the Excalibur for 2 people:

Thursday $76.47
Friday $150.59

avg nightly rate $113.53

It looks like a majority of the hotels have similar discounts.

I am not sure about the sim rides, let me give the boys at Simpro a call, to see if they will give us the hookup.

I just met the Account Excutive for the Marriotts in Las Vegas, should I check what kind of group rate I can beg for?

Whenever works for me ... and I might be able to swing a tour for anyone interested as I won't be the bottom of the bucket by then.
 
I am interested in attending NJC '06. Im turning 21 on 9/11 so this would be a great belated birthday gift to myself! I am most likely going to be in school during those times unless the event is on a weekend. Anyway I am interested in attending and putting a face to all these screen names :)
 
I'm good with those dates. The weekend before I'm going to be in San Francisco for a wedding, but the 26th-28th I'm good.
