Nice landing

The guy should have enough fuel to go around. What the heck, he only touched down with 1/3 of runway left. Gotta go try this approach in fs.

ha ha... so true. with supposedly 30 mins of VFR reserve, thats lots of go arounds...

Im surprised the tires didnt explode. A guy out at my airport only locked them up for not even a second and was going slow. He wore trough a 1/4 inch of tread tread to the cords. The tires were just put on a few weeks before.

Not to sound wierd or anything, but does anyone have anymore videos of tires locking up on airplanes.

I dont know what it is, but I find the noise from that video kind of cool. No I'm not under the influence of narcotics.

I know the circumstances for him locking them up are stupid, but its just a cool noise.

Well that's a good video on how NOT to do a short field landing! I think he qualifies for a FLOATplane rating with that preformance!
