Next Up in the RLA Conga Line

Wow, even DailyMail got in on the Delta AIP action...

But this graphic isn't accurate:

Wow someone butchered the FO estimate my god. Even captain.

Aroo? I've only been rerouted maybe twice in the last decade AND got paid appropriately for it.

Consider yourself lucky. I had it happening over multiple trips in the early summer. Rerouted out of multiple long layovers, made it seem like there was little point in bidding. On the same aircraft as you. That drove my desire to want to disincentivize the company from doing this.
I’m relatively happy with what I’ve seen in this AIP though.

Same, I've had a quite a few re-routes (especially during the 717 and 7ER days) and a couple that were downright dastardly. One of which took away a 48 hour London this summer. Rude.

I ride up front on Delta Buses frequently (thanks btw) and hear complaints of reroutes all the time. Almost every time I commuted this past summer.

This concludes my offering of offline anecdotal info.

PS maybe pick up something between DFW and ATL before you leave the 320 so I can bum a ride from you?

To avoid reroutes it is best to avoid ATL ;)

No. It's a 2 year place holder deal to get them to a JCBA with JetBlue. It may not be super high impressive numbers but a 25% raise from a ULCC That is losing money isn't too bad.

That's exactly right. This is a bridge agreement to get us to TPA (likely another raise)/JCBA (yep, another raise here too). That's when the rest of the gains are made. I'm an easy yes vote on this one. Beside decent rate gains, there are other economic gains too (albeit some don't take affect until '24) while making no concessions. A 27% increase in the span of 1.5 years, and knowing more raises are around the corner. Hell yes, I'll take that money to the bank right now...thank you very much. It's a good agreement and will pass. My guesstimates are 65%/35%.
