Did you lock the doors?
Some things can never be "un"seen. Thanks.I'm usually content to just let this stuff slide by but.... apparently this thread is full of acrobats.

You should start with a turbine glider typeDude, chill. Paying for a type specifically to get a job = no bueno. Paying for a type just because you want to get a type for fun = bueno.
I plan to do a new type every couple of years to cover my biennial requirement instead of just buzzing around the local area with some kid CFI. I'm not damaging your profession by paying for those types. Relax.
For my yearly dose of flying, I am uncertain what to pursue. I've spent plenty over the past 5 years on commercial, instrument, CFI. Planning a trip later in April, to regain Instrument currency. Should I add on something extra?
Eg EA500, CE525 SIC
SES at Kenmore, Tom Brady
Tom was good. Great fall weekend, clouds above, water below, never above 2000 ft and never heard the radio all weekend. A fun rating that's hard to fail unless you crash or fail to dock at the end.
Was $1000 all in two years ago including DPE, think he's raised it $200 as he did some more improvements to the Super Cruiser
So I've been thinking about this thread and I, too, love the idea of getting an SES endorsement....
...and then I'm flipping channels the other night and came upon this awful movie with Kate Hudson and Matthew Mcon...McConna....Mc.... that guy who played Wooderson in Dazed and Confused...
...anyway, he's flying/crashing this seaplane, and it starts to have a decent touchdown and then he gets it crooked and WHAM the plane flips sideways and over and sinks...
...and I thought about every time I side-loaded the landing gear on a 172 and realized that maybe I should get better at THAT before landing a seaplane....
