Matt ... CONGRATULATIONS!!! You will enjoy ExpressJet and you will absolutely LOVE the Embraer. It is, without a doubt, the simplest turbine powered airplane I've ever learned. You will probably find the systems far easier to understand than those on the Saab. Everything is stone-cold simple, and I like to joke that the whole thing must have been made by Ronco ... because with most of the systems, you just ... "set it, and FORGET it!"

Good luck in ground school. If you have any airplane-specific questions, feel free to PM me or flywithruss@yahoo.com ... enjoy the jet!! Also, I recommend driving to Houston ... it's a great city, but NOT pedestrian-friendly and most anything you want to do will require a car.
