This amounts to nothing more than a costume change in the great stage performance that is airline security.
TSA- Masters of Illusion... of Security.
In other words, this is their reward for failing 20 out of 22 tests at EWR, one of the airports that the 9/11 flights originated from.

I'd be fine with real security but these guys are nothing but a response to our call to "do something."
It's amazing to me that we the people cannot see how easily defeated this is. If they were smart enough to say, hey, we can use box cutters to take over their planes don't people realize they'll be smart enough to figure another way out?
If they even want to take over a plane again. They will not be able to repeat September 11 again. Hell, even on that day, the fourth plane fought back. Al Qaeda knows this. They're not going to try the airplane trick again BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT WON'T WORK!

I don't think that they all have that giant TSA on their back - some of them do, some of them don't.

Well, even with the new uniform . . . they're still a bunch of D-bags willing to work for the Inner party.
I've always thought, you need to give security control back to the local cities / counties that own the airport. Make it mandatory for the controlling municipallity to provide ACTUAL law enforcement officers, with specialized training to work the security areas of an airport.
Not some high school drop out who has a GED, and no personal sense of responsibility, except to "Get paid."
I blame both.
The Gubmint for treating all of us like naive idiots who shouldn't ever ask questions.
The people who need a job, apply to the TSA, and finally "Get paid" as well. They are part of the problem. Until people quit applying to work for the Inner Party, this country will further continue to slip into a constitutional-less, decreasing personal freedom, charlie fox.

While I agree entirely with what you said about our current security personnel in our airports. Sadly.....have you ever dealt with a town cop??? :drool::drool: Some/ most of them are almost as stupid as the TSA cronies. :crazy: I personally know one who never graduated from HS.....he 'might' have a GED...not sure. (no, I don't know him 'cause I was cuffed...never been arrested.)
Town cop might be in the dictionary as an example of 'power trip?'
