Hello all! I'm new to JC and really appreciate the info shared here. I am a helicopter pilot that is considering the Airline industry as a new path. I've been flying for about 6 years and thinking of adding on my FW ratings and start building FW time. As of now I am only interested in ASA as a starting point for the airlines because they give you 1:1 for TT helicopter and they are ATL based. But thats a while down the road. I have been lurking for a while here and APC reading the news of the industry. I will continue to read and contribute if I have the proper knowledge on the topic to do so.

Traitor! :)

Welcome!

Welcome aboard. I'm sure you know, but there are other avenues to pursue in aviation, other than airlines. Good luck in the switch. Let us know if you have any questions.

I do and almost anything flying appeals to me as long as I am paid a 1/2 way decent wage (first year FO pay aside).

Thanks for the welcome guys!!

Welcome, mang! I was a long-time UH-60 crewchief before I went fixed wing pilot. Sort of a similar track in certain ways. Welcome to the JC family.. and let us know if we can help you out.

... and just remember, in the fixed wing world, having an airspeed indication of zero is a *bad* thing. :D Cheers!
