New Required Rest Rules/121 Mins?

Hey all, just curious if there has been any movement on legislation changing the 121 required rest times and the minimum time requirement for 121 crew members? Also, does anyone know of a good, reliable source to follow this topic?

Jeez man, the guy just asked a simple question...

mdolezal, I don't fly 121 so dont really keep up with it at all, so I really cant help. But as far as I know nothing has changed. I figure as soon as something does change, this site will be all over the breaking news!!

I know, and agree. But if someone has been out of the loop, or "new", that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to ask a question without getting a condescending reply. Same goes for the people that responded to the guy making his very first post here asking what ACARS was. This is supposed to be an information site ya know..:)
 
It will probably be middle of next year before the faa proposes anything.

There was a hearing a short time ago posted on Cspan. You might still be able to find it there. It didnt sound to me like it would be solved anytime soon.

Yes, I'm sure this will make a splash once it's finalized either way.
Oh, nope, not new, just hadn't found a good answer to the question of if there was a location one could follow the progress of said proposed bill. Hiring, airline industry, required hours, yup: Terrible, Terrible, Higher than 250. Yup. Got it.
