Pilot and A Half (for now
I passed my private pilot checkride today. Now I can log PIC with someone else on the plane. :)

Now, you need to be careful of the groupies. You know...guys that are impressed with pilots and have crushes on them. They'll be drawn to you now. They'll do anything they can to get a real pilot...they say it's only for fun but they'll try to trap you...poke holes in the condom and such...but they'll only want you if you're a pilot. Be careful of them - the village debs.

Yes, Officer and a Gentleman was on recently. My Grandma wants to fly jets.
 
Congrats!! Welcome to the club! Be sure to take that passenger carrying responsibility seriously.

Thanks guys. Instrument is next, but probably not for awhile. I have to work on those pesky 50 hours of cross country. Guess what I'll be doing next year?

First things first congratulations! Those 50 hours don't have to be pesky either. Take some friends up, split the cost, and fly to dinner somewhere. Don't make the mistake I did when I built mine of flying over farm land for 50 hours scratching myself looking out the window.

I do plan to have fun with it. Cedar Key, Jekyll Island, Key West, lots of great places to fly around here! I plan to never fly alone again too. I'm taking someone with me on every flight. There are plenty of pilots around that will jump in the plane with me. :)

Good plan. My fondest memories from my GA days were loading up a plane of homies and going someplace for lunch. The hamburger costs $100. The value added is priceless.
(Speaking of hamburgers, check out the Tiki and KFPR. Worth the trip!)
