Well actually I joined about 2 or 3 weeks ago, but here's a little bit about me.
Names Chris, but my friends call me Tex. (wonder why?) Just graduated from UND, yet I'm still there working on my MEI while I still play sax in the UND wind ensemble and drive school busses to pay the rent. Hopefully I'll have my MEI in 3 or 4 weeks.
Right now, I'm frantically looking for a flying job. Right now I'm really looking at Landcare Aviation, and should here from them next week. However, if that doesn't pan out, I'm not exactly sure where to go as far as CFIing. UND won't hire until August, so I'd rather not wait till then, plus I'd like to leave ND. I could come back to the Dallas area, but I'm not ready to come home yet. I do hope to get hired by Eagle someday. I was an intern last spring at AA.
So yeah, I'm just pulling my hair out wondering what to do with my life in the next month. I'm just afraid of taking a CFI job across the country and finding that its not all that great, such as hardly having students, crappy planes, etc.
But this seems like a useful forum, and I will be visiting often.
