New Medical Durations Questions

Ok I know that the durations of the FAA medicals got changed on July 24th, 2008. My last medical was before that. I got a first class medical on 11/22/2005. By the time 7/24/2008 rolled around it would have already been a 3rd class medical. The question is...does my medical get "grandfathered in" to the new reg? Basically is my medical still valid until 12/01/2010?

No, it expires on 11/30/2010. As far as I know, unexpired medicals as of the date of the change were automatically extended to 60 calendar months from the date of issuance

Medical expire on the last day of the month. It would be invalid on 12/01/2010.

Ok, just wanted to make sure I haven't been flying on an expired medical the last 2 years. flight instructors were half and half. Some were saying it is still valid and some were saying it is expired.
