As some on here already know I've been looking at trying to get out to Washington State for the past couple of years to be closer to my girlfriend now fiancée. Well an opportunity has opened up and I'll be making the move west over the holidays and will start just after the new year.
I have not been given explicit permission to post the name of the company I will be working for yet so I will refrain from doing so.
My times don't matter because I didn't get hired based on flight time.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support me throughout my career and I will surely miss flying out here in Virginia Beach but my QOL was suffering too much.

This job will present me the opportunity to pay it forward and bring on some other pilots in the months to come so hopefully I can utilize this community in those efforts.
 
Good for you buddy! I'm sure Tfaudree is going to miss the smell of your farts and all, but I'm glad you'll be closer to the (insane?) woman who will put up with you. ;)

You are truly a stand up guy. I remember back when you were in school way back in the Jetphotos.net days.
 
Mike, it's really going to suck losing you, but I'm happy that you will finally be able to devote more time to Amanda, finalize the plans for your wedding, and start making plans for the rest of your life. I know how much the long distance relationships suck...especially with this job. The job in Washington sounds like a great opportunity; like I told the DO, you're great management material and you'll serve them well.

I'm glad the opportunity presented itself for us to work together. You've made an impact around here for sure, and it will be impossible to replace you.
 
Congrats mike!! I'm sure Travis will miss the smell of your stale cheeto feet! Lol.
