Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know I passed my Instrument Checkride today out in Brownwood , Texas with Pete Michuad. !!! moving on to Multiengine this week!!

If you are thinking of going to the airline, taking the ME rating. If not, you are wasting your money.

Last year every pilot was layed off except me at my company because I had my Multi, and the others did not, Since then we grew into a pretty big charter company with now 5 full time pilots. If I didn't have my Multi then, I would probably be un-employed.

Its not a waste of money. You may need a multi rating in a moments notice sometime then you will wish you had one.

Congratulations. Definitely get instrument privileges with your multi- it's only 1 non-precision & 1 precision approach, at least one of which- probably both- will be with one engine inop.
