Hey everybody. I just joined the site and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jordan, and I'm 20 years old. I'm goin to school in Virginia (just moved from California), and I would love to fly for the Navy after I graduate. It seems lke there are a lot of pilots with all kinds of experience on here. I hope to learn a lot from y'all (weird how I say "y'all" after just 5 months in Virginia :laff:). I'm working on my Instrument Rating now also and I'm looking to explore Virginia (not the D.C. SFRA). If you know of cool places to fly, let me know!

Check out Hummel Field (W75). If you can land there, you can land anywhere. Campbell Field (9VG) over on the eastern shore has a "Soup on Sunday" event just about every Sunday, weather permitting. Always a good time. Then again, JGG right there in your back yard has some of the best airport food I've ever eaten. Of course you've gotta check out First Flight and visit the Wright Brothers Memorial.

Drop me a line if you ever head over to ORF. I'll be more than glad to meet you for lunch and show you around our airplanes. Another member here flies for us and he'd probably join the festivities.

Thank you Estonian! And thank you too, TFaudree. Lunch sounds fun and I'd love to see your aircraft.
