Well, it means that I get to come in at 5 instead of 6:30, and stay until 2200 instad of 2000. . .
I'm going to have to do stage checks and things like that, but I'm not dropping any students. I'll start handing more check-outs and things like that to some of the other instructors.

Sweeet, more money! You earned it man, and have given myself and am sure some others a fine example to follow. Thanks to your influence , CFI'ng may be something I enjoy. I'm gonna get ALL the students in my school hehe, using your kind of drive!

Congrats Lloyd!
How was the checkride? I know my first instructor had to do a ride with the FSDO before he became my school's assistant chief pilot. Also he had to give me up during instrument training because the chief pilot didn't want him instructing and doing stagechecks on his own students.
So, can we call you the "Ass Chief" now?
