Hi everyone! I am very excited to have found this forum. I am a flight attendant and am always looking for new, fun aviation and forums to participate in.

I hope I will add something to this site and suspect I will get a lot from all of you too. Thanks for letting me be here!

Welcome aboard! There aren't many F/A's here, but the more the merrier. MQAAord is another member who was an F/A. Her perspective is located on the frint page.

Sheesh, pengy, if you're going to harass the F/A, would at least make it for something worth drinking?

Wiiiiiilsoooooon!!!!!

I loved you in Castaway -- you really stole the show! Glad to see you've recovered from that traumatic event and have gotten on with your life!

Welcome to JC!

I work for UAL. Based in California. I feel like I'm at my own roast. Just kidding - I'm used to all the FA jokes. Is this site mostly pilots?
Thanks for all the greetings!

Welcome, I'm the only other (that I know of) flight attendant here on JC. I flew for Eagle/Simmons for almost 6 years before transfering to mainline AA in April of 2001. I'm furloughed now, you can read my article on the main JC page. It's a bit dated, I wrote it in July of 2001. Obviously a lot has changed since then.

You'll find this site is 99.99% pilots, and the other .01% is significant others of pilots. I'm a pilot too, got my PPL in November 2001 during my first furlough.

Are you a member of flightattendants.org?

Nice to meet you! How long have you been with United?

Welcome aboard!!!!

If I can ask were are you based with UAL and you said you commuted, where from? (im a ex-UAL brat!, that means I don't get non-rev anymore)

Actually, there are quite a few flight attendants on the website.

But I think they're scared to death to post occasionally because sometimes people go a little goofy when a lady shows up on the forum.

JC, the "Cyber-Riddle" of internet forums.

Threatened? Nope. New people are welcomed here.

Sometimes we do a bit of strategic 'questioning' to sniff out imposters. (Remember that guy last year who tried to pass himself off as a USAir pilot? And we all reminisce fondly of TomCatter.......) In fact, I remember answering a few questions myself when I first started posting.

We either really pissed her (Wilson) off with the responses to her 'Aviary' thread, or she just doesn't like us anymore.

Quite honestly I wish more of the lurking F/As would post something. When asked F/A questions, I feel like I'm called on to speak for the entire F/A group as a whole. I'll gladly answer those questions, but I can only speak from my perspective. Which was only 7 years, spent within the same corporation. Other airline's persepctives are welcome.

I'm pretty sure Wilson wasn't the F/A who put up the "free advertising" movie - that was someone else.

I'm a little goofy all the time. Don't let that scare you!
