New F-16 Grads

Nothing worse than being low on fuel....and you are the tanker....and the last one up in the air ..... and it's at night ..... in the middle of the Pacific .... with a nugget pilot ..... pitching deck ..... oh, what is that red light?

Obviously I noticed your wings before, but I just got your username. Like it :)

Good, MSU program is over, but I raped those funds!! (PPL Multi Add-on -> crew XC's at ATP -> CMEL -> CSEL)

I'm working on my CFI on my own self study program right now. I'm also enrolled at WVUIT in their Aviation Mgmt. program as part of the MSU teach out too.

How's ASU?

So far so good man ... Made the mistake of getting 7 summer credits and lost 2 months of benefits ... Not doing that again next year ... Only 80% BAH too ... screwed myself but oh well I'm going to fly more

Cool vid. Maybe a cheesy bromance biopic, but it's a good look at the life for those of us on the outside.

I'd still give up a testicle for a week as Viper driver.

Not F-16s, buuut.

"It was kind of a fluke," [71st Flying Training Wing Public Affairs] Barger said in an email."During a slide show presentation while previewing the different patch options, the student presenter threw the ‘My Little Pilot’ patch design into the mix as an ironic joke. That patch made it all the way through the approval process and is even more ironic since the class never really wanted it in the first place. They thought it was so off the wall that it was hilarious. They have embraced the irony and humor of the patch and in so doing have fostered closer ties with each other."

"Ironic" … they could have had flames and boobs and double entendres.

That class just showed up in my T-38 squadron two weeks ago.

They are not wearing that patch.

Like i said earlier...
I'd jump naked in tar, roll in feathers, glue all the pink pathches all over me and wear a pink helmet for a ride in the 16... any takes?

I think you guys seriously overestimate how fun a ride in a Viper would be. Fun airplane, but certainly not worth losing a testicle or wearing humiliating attire.

Now...a ride in a Strike Eagle. Different story. hehe

Here's some video I took on one of my Viper flights back about 2005. My T-38 sq was flying adversary support for the FTU at Luke:
