The King Air I flew did the same thing as well as new interior and G1000.
It was lighter but we didn't gain a whole lot of speed, only about 20 knots.

Im starting to think Tprops are better because from what I've heard "Chicks dig beta"No jets for me. Prop trash for all my years of flying
