New cessna single engine speed record

It's nothing official, just the internet equavilant of guys sitting around a hangar telling stories.

"I once saw 85 kts in a curttis jenny!"

Having seen a couple of Jenny's up close, and having ridden behind a couple of OX5's (a Waco 10, and a Travel Air 2000) I would definitely need to see proof of 85 kts in a Jenny. I doubt you could get that straight down at full throttle.
