How do ya'all like my new avatar??? I was trying my best to make the animation as SMALL as possible because Doug only allows 80k of an image. I had to convert the images and limit them to only 16 colors! That's why it looks all grainy.

Nice avatar! I like it! One of my friends is from La Mesa, CA that goes to school here and he's doing just fine

Thanks! Yeah I just got back from La Mesa area. Went to a party there.

I'm sure I'll survive, I'll just have to adjust.
 
I moved here from Carlsbad, Ca so I know how you feel. I took some aviation credits at Palomar in San Marcos that transfered right into UND which was nice. Wish I would of taken more at Palomar being its only $11 a credit there!

Wow...yeah I took History of Aviation at Miramar College but I dropped it because I lost my job and had to move up to Sacramento with my parents, since rent here is expensive. Miramar and Palomar have excellent aviation courses. I wish I had taken more.

So it's nice to know that someone at UND is from my area...pretty cool.
 
I got my private at Palomar Airport and I might go back there and flight instruct after graduation being I know the owner of the flight school I went to. I miss being there!

You forgot to tell where you are originally from. So it's not like you're a total newbie to this garbage!
 
No, but I really did move here from there just to go to UND and I was there for 3 years so I think its still a crappy change Lucas.

lol, I know it is a crappy change. I was garbage having to move back from Nebraska for a month after a year and a half there, then to Vegas and back to ND. All in all, it was 2 years and it sucked to come back.

CRQ huh??? You must've gone to Pinnacle. I've been there a few times and had I not gone to UND I would've gone there for my flight training. I think they have a great program - my good friend Sean got his Private and Instrument there. He was working on his Commercial but the green Mooney was always booked up and wouldn't ever work with his school and work schedule.

I'm really gonna miss San Diego!...and the weather...
 
Naw, she went to Grey Eagle Aviation. Her and I took even flew out of there once together to French Vally, Palm Springs and back in their 172SP. One of the most fun flights I have ever had.

I love French Valley airport...they have a good restaurant right up against the tarmac. Good food and it's cheap. Palm Springs is a nice airport...it's a whole new world flying into there...seems like you are in Arizona all of a sudden.
 
Gotta love Palm Springs, you never know if the turbulence is gonna push you into the mountain that's right there. I heard that Banning Pass on the way to PSP is known as the tin trail. French Valley is an awesome little airport, but the traffic is soooo busy there! They almost need a tower.
