New airline coming - MOXY

I don’t know why but the word moxy annoys the hell out of me.

Marriott has a hotel Brand called 'Moxy'. It's targeted at Millennials, which seems like a strange choice as it's not like they have jobs or go outdoors. I stayed in one once, and it was pretty good. My room came with a guitar which naturally I picked up and strummed once then ignored. The other strange choice was that the usual couch was replaced with a 'Lovesac', which looked very comfortable but I couldn't bring myself to approach. Can you imagine the disinfection process required? Anyway, check in drinks were provided, the lobby area was neat, and Marriott gave me a bunch of bonus points for trying a new brand. Generally a good stay.

I had a little briefcase record player in one. It was actually pretty nice and they had a good collection of albums in the room.

The Moxie brand is kind of cool - the one in Midtown Manhattan is pretty slick - all of the furniture, except the bed, folds up and hangs on the pegs on the wall - which is also where you're supposed to hang your clothes. Surprisingly functional stuff made of wood and leather. I liked it. It was a very reasonably-priced hotel for Manhattan, too. Bed was damned comfortable.

Their intended guest ('millenial' is just a stupid term these days, devoid of any real meaning) is a traveler who basically sleeps in the hotel and not much else - they're out and about.

And the LoveSac is basically a beanbag chair filled with chunks of foam instead of beads. Weird, but surprisingly comfortable. Friend has one and I've crashed on it a couple times.

Did they have Coldplay playing in the lobby?

It's everything you had hoped for, and more.

"After 20+ years of crafting and perfecting Sacs, we're pretty sure they're the most comfortable seats on earth. Filled with a special blend of foam—never beans or beads—each Sac is airy, lofty, and so comfortable you’ll have to feel it to believe it. And because they’re available in six sizes, there’s a Sac for every room in your home."

I'm really curious where they will base their headquarters. Anyone have any other details/rumors about this? With the obvious mention of those cities they will be servicing, maybe they would base in one of those?
