New Adventure

Bottom of the list
Since the news is getting out around my company, I suppose it's ok to come clean on here too. After 7.5 years with the current shop, including the last 3 as Director of Maintenance, it's time to try my hand at something new. I'm moving 2 buildings down the field to fly Medevac in a PC-12NG. Looking forward to less stress, more free time, more flying, and learning a new airplane.

Congratulations!
Ps... are they going to change the picture in the terminal, or will you still get to be a celebrity?
:)

Medevac in the Pilatypus was ($$$ aside) the best job I ever had. I predict you'll like it too. Congrats!
That's what I'm going for. The pay is...adequate, even considering location and a family of 4, though it's certainly not DoM pay. With an A&P and half the year off I'm sure I'll find ways to make some extra scratch without interfering with the QoL.
Congratulations!

Ha. Good question!
Congrats dude! The Turbine will make you soft!
I'll always be a 'Jo driver at heart.
Netflix. Amazon Prime. Hope you have a good internet connection.

Rinse. Repeat. Enjoy! :)
I have 2 young kids and live 1.5 miles from the hangar...I see a lot of trips home for lunch and dinner in the future. Also skyrim.

You get to leave?!? Way too cushy!
Haha. My understanding is that within reason we're allowed to go out to grab a meal or similar. Obviously I'm going to be playing it very much on the conservative side until I get the feel of the lay of the land.

Good plan. Remember, that also means they only have to go 1.5 miles for an airport picnic lunch. ;)
