Networking pays off (Hired)

That's awesome John! Congrats!:nana2: What airport in NJ? We fly into MMU on occasion.

Congrats taint!

I see how it is, couldn't wait another month or two? If it dosn't work out (and I hope it does) call me, I got your six.

Congrats amigo! Oh you're just gonna love Jersey! Flew up there several times while I was in the Navy. Actually one of the ships I did a deployment on is based up there at Earl Naval Weapons Station.

Awesome, congrats on the job and welcome to NJ! I've lived here all my life and now I go to The College of New Jersey. What airport are you at, i'm looking to finish up my private.

That's why I shake my head when I see how some posters at this site not hold back a bit with the sarcasm and name calling. Some folks here have a LONG way to go and the guy you pissed off, and has a long memory, might be the guy that could have helped you.

Congratz on the job.

Amen brother! I got the job that I presently have, by somebody I knew, in return, I brought about 5 other people that I knew.

Heya everybody,

Networking pays off big time. This past weekend I managed to get hired at a flight school out in Jersey thanks to Seggy. In fact he did all the legwork, got me there, introduced me to the right people and let me crash at his place while this was all going on.

John

Oh yeah! Congrats on the jobs!

Seggy, you are the man for hooking a brother up!
:rawk:

Chillin' in Jersey wth Mark (Seggy). I've got my first student tomorrow (Sunday) and it's been a trip so far.

Head down to the shore and get yourself a howt dowg.

And practice your "how YOU doin" phrase, said with the proper Joisey accent.

Grats, man!

He has to get down his Jersey driving before he even THINKS about the accent. That could get him killed, if he doesn't drive the right way!

That's hilarious, thinking of John trying to adapt to Jersey driving! Heh heh heh! Big difference between East Coast and Midwest driving, huh John

The roads out here are completely jacked! I haven't gone anywhere yet without getting completely lost for a half hour.

Welcome to the East Coast ... it doesn't get easier either considering you're surrounded by NYC, Philly, Baltimore, and Wash D.C.

Does it seem like everyone around here is in a hurry? I've been told, and witnessed myself driving around San Antonio ... that drivers on the east coast seem to always be in a hurry while driving out west (everything from here is "out west" :D) is relatively more leisurely ... except for say, maybe L.A.
