NetJets Callsign

Anyone (NJA_Capt specifically) know why sometimes NetJets flights are "ExecJet 525" and other times it's "Hawker 525QS"? Does it have to do with deadhead legs?

International and gulfstream flights use the N# instead of "exec jet". Security I guess?

Yeah I noticed that too. What made me ask is today a Hawker came into Chattanooga using "525QS"...it did come from St. Thomas. Maybe ICAO doesn't recoginize "Exec jet"?

That's pretty much it. The GIV/Vs do not have call signs (dif air carrier cert). The rest of us only use them domestically.
