Nerd freaks out about aborted takeoff

Flyhigh, is that twin in your avatar yours? There's actually one of those out here in West Texas at the airport I fly out of. Yesterday I was talking to the owner and he was getting me to sit in it and trying to convince me to buy some time and get my multi in it.

It looks pretty saweet and I actually would like to fly it, but I don't know that I would want to get my multi done in that thing, I can't imagine it being in any way similar to most twin trainers, it looked more simple than a 172.

if THAT scared the • out of him, I cant imagine what something more dramatic than that would do to him. He probably curl into a ball and suck his thumb.

I remeber in 2002 when I was in Poland, the LOT 767 was accelerating then hit the brakes and spoilers. I was wondering what was going on (no I didnt freak out) but I later found out the door seal was broken. We sat on the ramp for about 40 minutes and that was that. No one freaked out, or anything, but that kid was crazy. makes me realize the importance of "arm spoilers" when I found out about that function on some aircraft.
 
What I found appalling was the comments on google - the number of people who made personal attacks including the number of suggestions that he is worthless. We all agree that his aviation knowledge is lacking, however I certainly do not think that makes him a bad person. This video is beneficial to all pilots and aspiring pilots as it demonstrates the lack of knowledge passengers have, so if you ever find yourself in that situation you have more knowledge to be more effective in your position.

Also I would be ashamed to called myself an aviation enthusiasts if that is how your peers behave!! I am sure that God does not judges people's worth on aviation knowledge. In fact outside of aviation careers, aviation knowledge is about as useful as venereal diseases.

That's the web for you! Say or do something ignorant, and you will ridiculed for it. Millions of people can see you doing something foolish and you'll hear about it.

I think one of the main bashing points is the fact that he sounds like he just woke up from a long winter's nap. And if you're going to claim that you're a pilot and question the judgment and ability of a captain with thousands more hours than you, you better at least have your terminology down.

My goodness, people sure did off on this guy in the comments section. Dude is not a pilot of course he doesnt know what he's talkin bout lol.
 
If anything this kid will have a successful career working for CNN or any other news channel as he has the ability to over dramatize something that's pretty much a non event.
