It seems OS Aviation is the best deal for me on the Commercial. I am a bit cloudy on how one would get the Single and Multi commercial with them with the times they quote, so if someone could help me with that...
(How does one get a Comm SE/ME with only 15 hrs multi and 5 in a 172?)
Now if I could get the guy to call me back and answer that, I am on my way.
As far as the CFI stuff...Mike/Keebler: First thank you very much for your flattering complements. I am fairly confident I could get this done on my own too. The question mark is more on the matter of time than anything else.
See, I really need to leave my current job soon. It is way more than a full time job (Though I am always on JC! hehe) which does not afford enough time to dedicate to flying and studying. In order to leave my job, I must be able to complete my ratings in a given timeframe (I am hoping for 6 weeks) and have a CFI job, or my savings fund will start depleting.
I was thinking some sort of structured program would more guarantee this timeframe AND help ensure continuity on the knowledge as well.
Even though I got a 98 on the written, I failed my oral IFR because I recieved no ground instruction and glossed over a very important section of the knowledge during my self-study. Even though my flying received high praise from the examiner, and the rest of my knowledge as well, I don't want to ever think I missed something again.
