need more advice

If the prices of the FBO are that high, it's a hard pill to swallow when you have places like Star Bright Aviation offering everything for 42. Then again I don't want a 500 dollar payment for the next 10 years.
I would do anything to have a $500 payment for the next 10 years.

That sounds fair, currently i'm 235tt working on my comm and have spent 33,000 dollars, after CFI CFII and MEI i'm sure it'll be around 40-42 thousand. Also you can figure they probably added in books, headset, supplies and checkride fees into that which adds some cost.

It may not sound like much, but when u add my student loan payments that I'll have to begin paying after college, along with rent, utilitiies, food, child support, I'll need a newer vehicle soon, etc. It adds up real quick and 500 on a regional or flight instructor salary is a lot of difference.
