Need help sleeping on long haul flights

Not sure if this is the right forum or not...mods feel free to move it if need be.

Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to get some sleep on long haul flights? I have the hardest time trying to sleep when flying on long haul flights. Are there any over the counter meds that can safely be taken to help you sleep?

Thanks!

I got you covered... I'll have my first line supervisor sit next to you on the flight and read all the latest FAA orders verbatim in his monotone voice. You'll be snoozing in minutes...

Here are the 2 ways I use on long flights.

1. A large beer at most airport bars. Throw in a shot of tequila and after that 1st hour in the air you should be a sleep.
2. There is a good sleep aid you can pick up at any drug store called Simply Sleep. Its made by Tylenol and works great without that narcotic feel and you dont wake up too groggy.

alright come on the wait is killing me. you have a nice looking young chinese woman sitting next to you and ends up with her head in your lap and you sign off. come on now where's the fun in that? i need someone to speak up the suspense is killing me.

You guys are thinking too deep, the answer is easy.

OK, Killbilly... you owe me a new monitor. I just spit coffee all over mine!

:)

Hah! You exposed yourself.

That joke is only funny if you've actually read enough of them to recognize the tone, y'know? :)

I can't buy you a new monitor right now. I do have a keyboard I can send you. It's only got a little bit of peanut butter in it.
