Since chris ford has change my mind (thank you) about aviation degrees, I want to get a four year degree in some thing else. Most likly computers or engineering. Any good colleges or universitys for either with good programs? thanks for your guys help.

me aviation degrees chris ford

spread the word!!!!!

I'm glad Chris changed your mind. Hopefully he will have no further affect on you :) (sorry Chris!)

My advice: go to the best school you can get into with the degree you're interested in. But NEVER lose that passion for aviation. The industry needs passionate minds to keep it moving forward... we'd be nowhere without the Kellehers, Lindberghs, etc.

Good luck!!

effect on you, he means. Don't mind his grammar. Evan, don't eat breakfast tomorrow, we're going to be having pies! ;)

I'm a great role model though, seriously. Well-rounded and great to take home to mom. I'm pretty much ready to write my memoirs, and I'm only 21 :)

There was a day, long ago, when I haded good grammers. Then, I comed to Purdue and learnt how to flied airplanes!

I was smarter during my senior year of high school than I am now. Now, I'm trying to catch up to where I should be.

Check out The College of New Jersey (http://www.tcnj.edu). If you can get in, it's a pretty good buy. Although academics are fairly tough here, I like it. We're not necessarily known for our engineering program, but as far as I know it seems top notch. I don't know much about the Computer Science Department, but if you ask me, a computer science degree is a lot less valuable than one in engineering.

looks challanging. need to work on my math then.
Yup sure is. All you have to do is read the strategic plan just released on the homepage to see that this university is goin places.

As far as FBO's and hot chicks: It's Texas. Anyone from around here will understand what that means.

Good to hear your getting a degree in something else. Good luck in your decision.

Yeah, it's a great networking opportunity. And if you're female, you might end up getting offered a paid internship (in the form of dinners, and if I can really tolerate you, flowers)!

I wouldn't rule out a school simply because the girls are subpar. I'm not going to lie, Purdue does have it's fair share of cows, but you have to remember this is Indiana. Where I'm from in New York your typical female wasn't exactly smokin' either. Be like me and keep your girlfriend back home and then girls here aren't really a factor. Maybe Purdue's worth a look if you're truely interested in Engineering/Computers/Airplanes. Hell, we even have Meterology!

How old are you? If you're not a Junior/Senior I wouldn't worry about it too much! Sit back and enjoy the last time in your life you have few responsibilities and get everything for free. As much as I enjoy "the college life", I certainly miss the good 'ole days of slacking off in class, working my job, and sleeping in my own bed everynight. Now I have to worry about morons in my room playing video games until 2am everynight. No, having kids on your playstation that late is not as much fun as it sounds. :)

The girls thing is a big joke, were just messing around, I wouldnt mind one here in there though. Actually im 15 and IM a freshman:nana2: Yeah my damn counsoler got me all obssesed with my GPA and class rank so Im all paranoed with colleges and such. I should just live my life for now, Im failing typing right now cuz my stupid teacher, but its all good. I should just chill, lite firecrackers, and stay away from the "stuff", ive done good with that so far and I hope I never do it. but yer right I should just take the free ride right now and worrie about those things later. Thanks man.
