Navy's new T-6B Texan II finally arrives at Whiting...

Got some insider info from guys in the program, and the fact that we are tied with Lockheed and the Navy on P-3 sustainment. :)
So what's up with the EP-3E replacement. Last I heard the ACS/gulfstream program was D.O.A... Are they going to merge the missions (VP/VQ) into the P8??? Seems like they should. But I have been out of the loop for some time.

Out of the loop in VQ matters but I assume with the failed Army Joint Venture, a 737 derivative (as proposed in 2003) is the ideal platform.

The T-6 makes me drool. A beautiful aircraft. I hope it flies as good as it looks!

The -34 is still the most pure fun I have had in an airplane......so simple, relatively powerful, and not TOO many ways to kill yourself in it.

True. The Turbo Wienie was lots of fun to fly, but the T-28 could carry 4 cases of beer plus 2 boxes of ribs from Dreamland BBQ.
