Depends, fixed-wing patrol? Fixed-wing fighter? Fixed-wing transport? Land based? Carrier based? Training command or fleet assigned? Is the unit deployed or stateside? If deployed, what types of missions are they flying? If stateside, what's their training rotation schedule? etc, etc, etc.
Many variables into the open-ended question.........

Ok. Patrol and fighters will fly different amounts of time simply due to endurance. A good WAG would be about 15-20 hours/month for fighters, probably 30-40 for patrol such as P-3. Rough WAGS but in the ballpark.
They vary. Typical squadron duties include scheduler, training officer, lief support officer, safety officer, mobility officer, maintenance officer (USN only), department head/flight commander, duty officer, etc.

......no, what I meant was that only Navy/Marine units have pilot-officers that are maintenance counterparts to the non-flying maintenance officer, as opposed to AF units that don't have this position since maintenance is a completely separate organization from the flying squadron.
VP' depend on command, Mike's got it about right for the straight stick guys. The VQ's/VPU's are if on the road its up around 100 or so a month. Quite a few times the aircrew would have to go to FS to when they hit IRRC 150 hour limit, to keep flying. Where I'm at now(COMPACFLT Executive Transport) We have six Pilots, currently one aircraft(other is in for rework) leaving one operational, and we only put 70 hours on her last month.
In general as a Navy fixed wing pilot in an operational squadron you'll get about 1000 hours in your first 3 year tour. After that all bets are off. Currently deployed P-3 pilots are getting 30-40 hours a month because there are severe limitations on the airframe and how many hours it can fly per month. While not deployed you'll get far less hours. If you're young you could luck out and fly the replacement for the P-3 (Boeing MMA) sometime much later this century...
