NASA has scrapped it's first all-female space walk due to an availability issue with the space suits.
Presumably the female astronauts wouldn't be seen dead in the same outfit.

That’s one of my many issues with “humor” like this. Not only is it more than a little sexist, it’s normally the absolute minimal effort at being funny.

She had already done one EVA in the large torso, she just expressed a preference for the medium one, so we're not talking about *dying* here.

Still, it's not a big deal, but the humor in this whole thing is the vast majority of people I've seen complaining about it are the "OMG there's nothing to see here people." Er. People.

Number of actual zomg feminists I've seen complain is quite small since most can, you know, read.
