Nametag preference

I heard a lot of comments last year about how it would have been helpful to have the nametags at 9FI and not just at the event....so would everyone whose going to make 9FI (Nine Fine Irishmen restaurant/bar in NYNY casino) on Thursday night prefer to have their nametags then or would you prefer to get them at the event on Friday?

If I do distribute them on Thursday night, it'll be your responsibility to bring them on Friday Night....
 
it's a year by year thing, depends on participation level!
 
I voted for Thursday, but I guess it reall depends on how many 'new' people will be there at 9fi. If the majority of n00b's will be at Friday's event I'd wait for then.......

Or maybe we can get them thursday and then all switch for Fridays event. Make for some fun times.... :D
 
yeah.. i don't like the stickies either which is why i do lanyards every year...

we have bout 11 new folks coming this year out of the 30 total...if the majority of those new folks are meeting us all at 9FI on thursday night, then your right, we should go with thursday..
 
I'm not a big fan of nametags but I say if we're gonna do them, do them at the main event.

Well, Maxie will be standing for maybe, the first hour, after that, the J/C Mascot will be on the floor.....

Ok, i'm going with main event.. but if anyone wants there's on Thurday.. let me know cuz i don't want to have to carry them around all night Thursday!!!!

Only is Tony is serving. Oh and every NJC event I have been to I have never eatin before drinking. So I'm gonna change that this year and maybe be drunk in the second hour!!! Instead of thirty mins after it starts!
 
Oh YAH, Tony's serving and we'll have the typical's there (Rum, Tequila, Gin & Vodka)...we even have some red bull this year for those who need help staying awake! ;)

Like I told Tony last year his were good. His Long Islands just had no taste. It was like sipping isopropyl alcohol. But they served their purpose!!!
