Name that plane (description only, sorry no photos)

CFI A&P

Exploring the world one toilet at a time.
So this flew over me the other day, flying the visual to the local C airport. Tried Flight Aware and couldn't find it.

It was a twin turbo-prop pusher, no canard. Definitely not a Piaggio, those fly over daily and wasn't the same sound or shape. Swept wings and underwing fuel tanks like a Lockheed Jetstar. Almost like a modified Angel Aircraft.

Any guesses.

Beechcraft Starship?

Starship has canards though.

Was it a long EZ? I know you said it was twin turboprop, but the fuel tank thing has me all confused

The only certified plane that sounds like that is an Adam 500. Very few produced. Starred in the Miami Vice movie about 5 yrs back. Just a guess. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_A500

Were the under wing tanks floats maybe?
