Name that airport

not a clue.....couldn't focus too much on the lights with the bouncing around.

all I could make out was the runway environment.

Oh well, we'll wait for the pics....
 
You're right...not my best videography. Here's a hint...the runway is 8L, and we were by far the smallest aircraft on the field (Seminole). I'll post some pics after work tonight.
 
That's about the only time I've been in there is early AM...a couple of times during busy times, but mostly late night...seen that view numerous times. Usually left around morning push time.

We were asked to confirm our destination by three different controllers:) Though, when we said ATL Hartsfield, they did not sound surprised. I think the last group of arrivals/departures was around midnight. I was actually surprised how easy getting in and out was...nobody in front or behind us on approach.

Taxi from runway to Mercury ramp was about 2 minutes. $6 landing fee w/$40 ramp fee, but that was waived when we got fuel...not bad for one of the biggest airports in the world! The rampers were all good guys...they said the Arizona D-backs would be arriving in a 737 about an hour after we got there, but we had to be back in DAB by 0400, so we had to go:( Two Airnet Lears pulled in while we were there, which was neat to watch. On departure, we did our runup on the ramp, which was a good thing...we taxied #1 in line with a Hawker, MD80, and DC-8 (Arrow Cargo) behind us. Twr cleared us for takeoff about halfway down the taxiway, and we never stopped rolling. Good experience for both me and my student.

Yeah, ATL is pretty cool. Sounds like normal ops there. Next time, show up after the charter 737 for the D-Backs (or whatever team is coming in) and the cargo and line guys raid whatever catering is left over :) . Maybe they'll share. I've had some pretty good snacks there.

It took you 2 minutes to taxi from 8L to Mercury on Dixie? Yeah, I would've already been unloading by then.:) Great experience for you and your stud!!!
