My Turn! My Turn! (Part Deux)

My esteemed colleagues...

As of 5:30pm yesterday I've been welcomed into the fraternity of Airline Pilot. My interview with ExpressJet went very well (will post in Interview Experiences later), and I was offered the position with a class date starting on Dec. 18th (incidentally, that's my birthday -- what a birthday present!!). :nana2:

I'm still tired after not sleeping the night before the interview, and getting back very late last night, but I can't post this without thanking all of you who have helped in any way with advice or tips posted on this fine forum. I'll also send a "shout out" to Doug and Kristie for the creation of this wonderful forum. This is the second time that JetCareers has been instrumental in helping me further my career.

LOL...you're telling me? I can't wait to hit the road...I'm going to drive back to NYC so I can leave my stuff and then fly to IAH for training. I do need a few days to rest.
