2.5 in limo?

It's not really a limo. It's whatever cut rate taxi company they could find. My personal record from Clarksburg to PIT was 3 cabs and 5 hours. The first one caught on fire just north of Morgantown, the second one got a flight tire (with no spare) in Washington, PA and the third finally got us to the airport.

The only places I've actually had limos were Montreal and Indianapolis.

My record is two. Half way to the airport in MCI, the driver was being erratic, smelled like a bartender's rag and we had him stop and send another car to us. Scary stuff man.

If this is thread-worthy, do not ever come fly non-sked. :)

It wouldn't be so bad doing a back side of the clock trip except that it's a total flip flop from the last four days. Us freight dawgs, well, everyone knows that freight pilots are used to working nights so we didn't need no stinking new FT/DT rules...

Nope. 9E does (or did), ASA, Mesa and us all use that facility. I've also seen AWAC and Horizon birds in there in the past.

I have been inside that facility many times at 2am picking up boots for the "other" airplane we fly. There are a ton of former airways Mx guys there too. Kinda cool listening to there good ole day stories at that hour.

You guys get Limos? They hand US a roll of duct tape and a pair of goggles and point us to the nearest truck stop....

I thought we got out of Clarksburg and were sending crews to HOT without charts. No charts in the crew set or in the brick on the aircraft. Oh, and we aren't telling you where to find the charts. And if you get all the way there and realize you don't have the charts then come all the way back to DTW then you vill meet ze maker!

Even my schedule was better!
