Yep it sure does. I feel like there is a bigger lack of self respect in the corporate/charter world than in any other part of aviation.

It seems like it's where all the untouchables end up and operators know this and treat them as such.

It is true at the really crappy companies, where this type of behavior is accepted and encouraged. My first charter job had a guy that paid for his type to get upgraded into a Hawker. He tried to go to the airlines multiple times and nobody picked him up. He has a real screw loose. He told me he strait up that he has no problem paying for the type.

Yep, I realize how lucky I am to be at this 91 operator. There are tons out there that have no knowledge of their self worth.

I did, but I wasn't doing it in my "free time" as a retired airline guy. Your point is really not valid as every pilot group in the regionals has undercut others and taking flying at one time or another. Just sayin'.
