My first float plane ride

Went to Seattle for a wedding with my girlfriend. She booked me on a sight seeing flight out of lake union. It was pretty cool. I think it is time to do my sea plane add on. I didn't get to sit upfront but maybe next time.

Awesome shots! When I went to Seattle the hotel we stayed at was right near Lake Union so we would go for a walk on the lake and watch the planes fly in and out, pretty cool sight!

I did the same tour with Kenmore when I lived in Seattle (Wallingford, north shore of Lake Union). We took off from Lake Union, down the coast over the Mariner's stadium, over Bellevue off to Ballard and back to the Kenmore dock.

They used to pass right over my house. I could see the water coming off the floats.

Nice pictures! I got my ASES add-on last year in Alabama. Flying floats is by far the most fun I had flying.

Agreed. My ASES was the best flying I've ever done. Makes me almost want to go out and get the MES addon. Too bad there is no where to rent or fly floats in Michigan.
