My dog passed away last night.

Thank you for all the kind words of support. I wasn't home when he passed. It was a little upsetting to hear how it occurred but at least it sounded like very little pain and occurred very quickly. We didn't have to put him down because he was never in pain.

Take care, I still have two of my first pups around and can only imagine how that feels. So sorry to hear, seriously take care and I only wish the best.. Wish these pups could stay around as long as we do. :(

I'm so sorry. I'm as much of a dog lover as one can be, and my husband and I have two corgis. It's the worst thing ever....they just don't live long enough.

MikeD, I hope you find your dog. Keep an eye on craigslist and the area shelters and vets if you have not been doing that already.

Well that's never easy. But comfort can be found knowing you provided a wonderful life for your buddy.
