It's always hard to lose a friend or coworker...sorry guys.

High Flight
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high unsurpassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.

I would also like to pass along my condolences to everyone that I left behind at Pan Am. Although I barely knew the instructor and did not know the student, I know that it's tough to handle. It's tough for me to handle, and I haven't been there since August. A situation like that is always in the back of the mind of anyone who's wheels leave the ground, but you try not to think about it. It just sucks when it does happen, and it rattles the cages of everyone who flies when one of their own dies doing what we all love to do--- flying.
