Must...Have...Leg room

I'm 6'7". Every time I fly I ask for an exit row at both the ticket counter and the gate. Of course, usually the gate agent is the gatekeeper to the exit rows, so that's usually where I score. Asking nicely with a smile on one's face and being polite helps. Being a giant doesn't hurt either.

Alright, I am 6'8'' and consider myself a pretty nice guy. BUT when it comes someone in front of me on an airplane that obviously knows what's going on (or is to ignorant to be aware of there surroundings) tries to recline the seat before we even take off, I am the first on to give them the ol' straight leg so they can't recline. Seriously, anyone tall will agree that we have all learned the hard way.
