Multi Video

I shot and edited a video for our school's new website.

I had an instructor fly a couple of low approaches at full speed. Pretty cool to stand that close to a plane flying by. The airflow and sound is intense.

Getting my multi ticket has been the best part of my training so far. I miss flying it already.

For the film buffs, I shot this on an XL-1 and edited with Final Cut.

Great video:) And good choice on film equipment, especially Final Cut. I use final cut pro to edit all my movies, and I love it. So much better than Avid:).

Thumbs down on the music choice. Too dramatic for the type of video, but it worked quite well in Apollo 13!

That low approach was pretty cool!

how much did it cost to buy the rights to use the soundtrack? I'm just curious - we had a client ask us about doing something like this, but at that point "you can't afford it" was the automatic answer.

Well, while the music was a little dramatic, I was just AMAZED that there was no 80's hair-band music, and then I was shocked, amazed and appalled that you could make a flying video and NOT play "highway to the Danger-zone".:sarcasm:

You can buy royalty-free music all over the web for as little as $50 per use. Generally, you can listen to samples online and pick what you like.
